The Story Behind
Mario Tyre & Rim & ARASH Wheels.

Around six to seven months before starting this project, I had a serious workplace accident while running my own painting business in Australia. I fell approximately six metres from an extension ladder. Both of my wrists were badly injured, my left cheek required several stitches, and my right knee suffered a deep penetrating injury.

In a single moment, my life changed.

I went from working every day and supporting myself to being unable to work, while bills, mortgage payments and financial responsibilities continued to grow. Physically, recovery was painful. Mentally, it was even harder because I realised how quickly life can change.

During that time, I looked for opportunities to rebuild my future. I approached people in the wheel and tyre industry, hoping someone would give me a chance. Some opportunities never eventuated, and others simply closed the door. It became clear that if I wanted to build something meaningful, I would have to create that opportunity myself.

One conversation completely changed my mindset.

I met someone by chance and shared what had happened to me and what I was trying to achieve. Instead of telling me who to speak to or opening a door for me, he simply said:

“Why don’t you build it yourself?”

That question stayed with me.

Cars had always been one of my biggest passions. Ever since I bought my first car, I loved improving it, especially with wheels. I didn’t have much money, so I spent countless hours searching wrecking yards for affordable wheels that could completely transform the look of my car. Every vehicle I’ve owned since then has received the same attention because I’ve always believed that wheels define the personality of a vehicle.

That passion eventually became the foundation of this business.

Instead of waiting for someone else to give me an opportunity, I decided to build Mario Tyre & Rim and create my own premium wheel brand.

That brand became ARASH Wheels.

ARASH is named after my youngest brother, someone I love deeply. I wanted the name to represent something that would outlive me—a brand built on passion, determination, quality and purpose.

Every ARASH wheel begins with an idea, not a catalogue. Every design is developed with careful attention to appearance, strength, engineering and real-world performance. My goal has never been to copy what already exists. I want to create wheels that enthusiasts genuinely aspire to own.

Mario Tyre & Rim exists for the same reason.

I know what it’s like to work hard for everything you have. I know what it’s feels like to save for your dream car, your first set of wheels or the upgrades you’ve always wanted. That’s why every customer deserves honest advice, quality workmanship and genuine care, regardless of whether they’re buying a single tyre or a complete custom wheel package.

This business represents resilience, hard work and refusing to give up.

It represents turning one of the lowest points of my life into something that can create opportunities for others.

My hope is that Mario Tyre & Rim becomes one of Brisbane’s most trusted wheel and tyre specialists, and that ARASH Wheels grows into a respected Australian wheel brand recognised around the world.

This is only the beginning of that journey.
